Old Library London

The Old Library,

Since August 2016, Theatre Deli have been working with Southwark Council to transform the Old Library in Burgess Park into a vibrant new arts and cultural space.

Alongside the rehearsal and development studios hosting residencies for emerging companies to develop new performances, the Old Library offers a variety of shows, activities and one-off events for, and by, the local residents and London’s wider artistic community.

From scratch nights to festivals, music nights to visiting theatre shows, the Old Library has an exciting programme all year long.

Theatre deli Youth theatre and School Outreach Programme

Theatre Deli's Youth Theatre - open to everyone from the ages of 7 till 18. For pre-registration, email us here

Theatre Deli piloted their first school outreach programme with four Southwark Secondary Schools - 'Performers in the Park: The Butterfly Effect'. Working with the talented students from Ark Globe Academy, Harris Academy Peckham, James Allen's Girls' School & Walworth Academy.

Deli Community

Working closely with Southwark based organisations, charities and community theatre companies, the Old Library have collaborated and co-produced work with the Friends of Burgess Park, The People's Company, Rewrite, Mandinga Arts, and many more.

All performances at the Old Library offer a limited amount of £5 tickets for SE5, SE15 & SE17 residents. 

On 7th October, The Old Library will be hosting a Fun Palace for the community, by the community. See more details here
